Miss Alyssa- Principal

Alyssa has been dancing since the age of six. She was trained at The Ritz Dance Company in a variety of dance genres including Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Pointe, Modern, Contemporary and Hip-Hop.

 

Her choreography has been highly rewarded at eisteddfods with many pleasing results and placings across both troupes and soloists. Her students have received consistently high results in their Glenn Wood Tap examinations, with herself receiving Gold Awards (98+ in Grades 9-13).

 

She has been fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to perform at many different locations and competitions both locally and nationally. In 2017 she was fortunate enough to be able to travel to America to perform at Disneyland and Universal Studios and take part in workshops with renowned international choreographers.

Miss Chelsey

Chelsey started her dance training at the age of 5. She started with one class per week in jazz and then each year added another genre to cover all styles of dance as she began to show a love and passion for performing.

 

Chelsey is trained in genres such as Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip hop, Acrobatics, Aerial, Tumbling, Vocal, Ballet, Tap, Cheerleading and Musical Theatre.

 

She began assisting dance classes in 2014 then began teaching her own classes at the age of 17 as her love for teaching began to grow.

 

Chelsey has obtained her Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management, Diploma of Musical Theatre and obtains her First Aid Certificate.

She has also completed up to her Advanced Foundation in R.A.D ballet exams.

 

She has had many great opportunities such as being a Grand finalist in Australia’s Got talent 2019 with Team Akrobatika, been a backing vocalist with Musical Theatre Greats, Performed in the Disneyland Parade and at Universal Studios, was a featured contortionist in ‘Le Freak’, danced at The Central Coast Mariners home games as well as Usain Bolt’s welcoming night, performed at private functions, participated in workshops in Macau with ‘The House of Dancing Water’ and many other corporate events.

Miss Alice

Alice is a dance teacher with 9 years of experience working freelance across private dance studios on the central coast . She specialises in teaching the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) ballet syllabi to students of all ages and levels of experience.

 

Alice is a registered teacher with the RAD and holds the Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies, Certificate IV in Dance, Diploma in Dance Elite Performance, Progressing Ballet Technique Certification, and additional dance teacher training courses.

 

Alice began her dance training in 2002 under Patti Gleeson at Central Ballet School where she studied Classical Ballet, Contemporary Jazz, and Tap. During this time, she was also a member of the Central Dance Company (2007-2017). On completion of her Advanced 1 Vocational Ballet Exam,

 

Alice commenced full-time dance training at FSDance and College of Creative Arts (2014 – 2016) where she completed the Advanced 2 Vocational Ballet Exam and was awarded a Distinction. Alice is a passionate and enthusiastic dance teacher who enjoys inspiring her students and watching them achieve their personal best.
