All classes are age based and suitable for any ability or experience and our teachers will be able to cater to a range of abilities in one class. 


All classes begin with a genre specific warm-up, followed by a stretch, corner combinations, an activity and combination. Halfway through term 1 students will begin to learn their concert routine and will be working towards to mid year display at the end of Term 2. 



Wednesday Twinkle Toes are $6/lesson or $15/3 lessons

All 30 minute classes are $  9.00 

Private lessons are $20


We offer 20 minutes each of Ballet, Jazz & Tap for the discounted price of $15/week.

In our experience this is all that is needed for our tiniest dancers and gives them the opportunity to experience all genres. Parents are welcome to view their first class, however after this we do ask that parents wait in the foyer. We  do have a watching week in the last week of Term 1&2 for you to see your superstars in action. 


The perfect class for your aspiring little Angelina Ballerina or Emma Wiggle. Our ballet class combines basic classical techniques with imagination and role-playing activities in a beautiful introduction to dance. 


A fun filled, high energy class where little groovers will learn basic dance moves and routines whilst having fun and engaging with other students.


Aspiring tappers will develop a sense of rhythm, coordination and timing along with the added fun of tap shoes. 



Jazz incorporates many technical elements of dance including kicks, turn, turns, leaps and flexibility danced to funky, upbeat music and choreography. Benefits of this class include improved strength, flexibility and confidence. This is one of our most popular styles and is a perfect class to take if your child is just starting out their dance journey. 



Lyrical dance is an expressive style derived from jazz and ballet techniques. This genre tells a story through movements and is perfect for children who love to express themselves and will help bring confidence out in those who are a little reserved. 



Hip Hop is a clear favourite at Alive and it’s easy to see why. Hip-Hop incorporates a variety of sub-genres including popping, locking, isolations, break- dance, commercial and many more. Students are constantly being challenged with crazy new moves and everyone always comes out with a smile on their face.


A very popular class with our students which allows them to explore their creativity and embrace character roles. Musical theatre combines dance with acting and culminates in an amazing end of year production. Past productions include The Wizard of Oz, Alice in Wonderland, Willy Wonka , Aladdin and most recently Peter Pan. 



Ballet is the foundation of all dance genres and has an emphasis on technique and grace. The benefits of classical ballet include posture, discipline, respect and poise. This is a fundamental genre to take if your child aspires to become more advanced and excel in other genres. Our senior ballet class focus on technique and becoming a stronger, more refined dancer. 



In our tap classes we teach classic tap technique seen in musicals like 42nd street and Singing in the rain as well as more current, funky styles such as Tap Dogs. In this class you make music with your feet and learn rhythm, timing, percussion and patterns.


Acrobatic Dance, or Acro as it is commonly referred to by dance professionals, is the beautiful fusion of classic dance technique and the precision and athleticism of acrobatic elements. Acro is an especially challenging style for dancers to master as training in both dance and acrobatic elements is required. Acro technique includes balancing, limbering, tumbling and partnering, based in flexibility, contortion and strength.

Miss Alyssa is a qualified Acrobatic Arts Instructor and follows the Acrobatic Arts syllabus to ensure the safety of our students.
